Умываться в холодное время года нужно как можно реже, а вместо мыла лучше использовать кефир или нежирную сметану, которые в количестве двух столовых ложек следует смешивать со щепоткой морской или обычной поваренной соли.

Благотворно на состоянии кожи лица сказывается также протирание тампоном, смоченным в растительном масле. Волосам, которые стали секутся, поможет репейное масло.

Особое внимание следует уделить коже рук. С первыми заморозками одевайте перчатки. Делайте для рук размягчающие ванночки с использованием картофельного крахмала. При появлении трещинок хорошо помогают ванночки из натертого на терке сырого картофеля с добавлением небольшого количества воды.
